Review of My Dinner with Andre (1981) by Paul B — 17 Feb 2009
Two people talk in a restaurant and some guy films them. That those two people are Wallace Shawn and Andre Gregory and that the guy is Louis Malle makes the premise significantly more interesting--in fact, a great, fascinating, hypnotic, even riveting introvert of a movie.
Maybe watching two guys talking over a meal for a couple hours isn't your cup of tea, but I'll take this over 99.99% of all movies involving car chases.
