Great ford vehicle for fonda, mature & breannan. well-shot in ford's favorite monument valley locales; well-acted in stand-out '40s style. even a truly compelling story -- but one that has nothing whatever to do with the historical earp brothers or the events in tombstone or at the ok corral.

ford would have been better served to simply change the chacters' names & tell the tale he wanted...
