With the as much 'law' experience that I have, all I can say is that not only is this mostly accurate, it's hysterical because it's something every Mock Trial kid has secretly wanted to do.
(You know, come in to court with a purple/pink suit, stand up and say "opposing counsel is an asshole" as opening, and then conclude with some grade A cross exams.) Marisa Tomei is a GODDESS in this movie, especially her little spiel about hunting deer.
And now I know why the late George Carlin prayed to Joe Pesci. :] Excellence.
