Review of My Cousin Vinny (1992) by Izzy G — 11 Apr 2009
"You know what the minimum age for execution here is? 10".
8.8/10.
My Cousin Vinny is an enjoyable and delightful comedy about wrongful convictions and courtroom dramas which continues to feel fresh and hilarious.
My Cousin Vinny is full of fantastic performances from the Oscar-winning Marissa Tomei to the bumbling Joe Pesci. Fred Gwyne is one of the great highlights of the film with a comedically commanding presence, it's a shame that his performance wasn't greater recognized. Funny and witty dialogue serve to propel this comedy above others and make it uniquely memorable.
My Cousin Vinny is a hilarious watch filled with genuine laughs and incisive social commentary.
