Review of My Cousin Vinny (1992) by Mike L — 01 Aug 2009
A well written and well acted comedy, about the only thing false in this one is Joe Pesci's hair-piece, oh and why Marisa Tomei is with him, but that kind of adds to the comedy. A classic case of city folk being out of place in a southern rural setting. Two buddies of Pesci, one being Ralph Macchio of Karate Kid, are falsely accused of murder and it is up to New Yorker to get the kids off in a Alabama court room over seen by Fred Gwynne( Hurman Munster).
Funny and it works.
