Review of My Cousin Vinny (1992) by Stefan G — 10 Nov 2013
Yes, it's pretty apparent that it's not very funny, but it's actually not bad. If there's one thing that stands out in this film, it's the acting. Sure, some of the characters can be outright unlikable, but the acting is really nice, especially coming from the film's star Joe Pesci.
The plot seems iffy at times, but I think it's pretty good, even if the script lacks a lot humour. To be completely fair, the film may have a sense of humour that I clearly don't understand, probably because the subject matter is more for "sophisticated adults", but it still could have been a lot funnier.
Otherwise, it's still mildly entertaining, if only due to the performance of its main cast.
