Kar Wai Wong's Hollywood debut is an atmospheric and romantic drama about a woman (Jones) who seeks herself on a journey through USA. Beautifully shot and nice use of colors as expected from Wong but the story feels a bit flat.
We have lots of actors giving nice performances but in the end the journey seems a bit shallow and the end is very easy to guess. I haven't seen Wongs korean outings but what I have read they should be better.
