Not the typical Wong Kar Wai work, which was expected at some level in my mind,due to the casting. Thus it was not too disappointing to watch a cliche love story. It still had style - the only thing that carries the movie; the sound and the colours.
Enjoyed watching David Strathairn in the role of a heart broken drunkard. Not too sure about Norah Jones being an actor. Jude Law is just too good looking to be a Wong Kar Wai character. At the end, the film just lacked a heart melting story.
But I enjoyed watching a happy 'ever after' ending in a Wong Kar Wai work.
