Review of My Blue Heaven (1990) by Bob S — 17 Mar 2010
This is a mildly amusing comedy featuring Martin as a gangster befriending an FBI agent (played by Moranis). Each character tries to teach the other. Martin helps Moranis build his confidence and shed his awkward persona while Moranis helps Martin adjust to a crime free life in small town America.
Youâ??re left with uninspiring characters and a mundane story once the novelty has worn off watching Martin play an Italian gangster. The little league ball game ending could be the lamest of all the fluffy final scenes that marked Hollywood comedies of that era.
