A remake. I was prejudiced and regretted not having rented the original movie first. But this remake was better than I thought. The plot was kept simple and it wasn't extremely scary neither boring.
I couldn't see any 3D effects probably because I had a 2D version and I use only one eye anyway to watch a movie.
I'm waiting to receive the original title. I'm curious.
