A lot better than I expected and I didn't even have the gimmick of 3D. Just when you think they have exhausted shocking ways to kill someone with a pick-axe they throw out another one. Luckily it's OTT so more of a fun shock than a Saw style gross-out.
It also has a fairly interesting reveal at the end. Jensen Ackles does a good job of playing a slightly subued Dean Winchester (of supernatural) but he's hardly pushing himself by doing a horror film.
