I was surprised that I liked this one more than I thought I would. I had seen the original film, which isn't really much of a good movie, but does have the clout of being a Canadian cult horror movie filmed in Nova Scotia.
This movie actually does something a little different with the story, unlike so many remakes these days, which just copy the film with new actors and more watered down scenes to get a PG-13 audience. I didn't see it in 3-D, but I don't think that that should be the be all end all of the movie.
If you take away the 3-D, is it still good? Obviously something like Avatar isn't (wake up people!). So, in the end, not terrible, but not that good either.
