You're a complete idiot if you took this movie seriously for one second. Its a great throwback to the 80's 3D crazes and also its biggest criticism. It was certainly different from the original, which let me enjoy it more, had it been a direct remake it probably would have been horrible.
Its such a fun movie, and is even better to watch in 3D.
