Review of My Bloody Valentine (1981) by Matthew G — 19 May 2009
A typical low-budget slasher flick, built around the myth of a costumed, deranged killer weilding a sharp weapon that would ensure maximum carnage. The usual characters populate the wafer-thin storyline, and the requisite surprise is delivered at the end.
Swift pacing rescues it to some extent, but it needs to be seen today with a bit of sympathy.
