Review of My Bloody Valentine (1981) by Zane T — 02 Nov 2009
For a lot of slasher movies that came out in the 1980's, this is kinda in the middle, not bad, but not good. A killer dressed up in a miner outfit terrorizes a Nova Scotia mining community. The movie starts off good and goes downhill with bad acting and bad writing.
The blood and gore is not as bad as it has been reported, but it looks like a lot of movies that came out at that time, cheap and made fast to make a buck. It's good for a late night film, but if you're looking for something really scary, look otherwise.
