Review of My Bloody Valentine (1981) by Eric R — 10 Feb 2010
I just thought it's almost Valentine's Day and I just watched the original 1981 My Bloody Valentine. What I wanna say is boy's and girls treat your partner right, it's a very special day ha ha.
But any way let's get to my review. My Bloody Valentine one of the few slasher movies that had a chance too draw new blood and get remade. But Let's focus on the original, because I think it's a much better film.
The plot of the movie is a miner who get's trapped in the mine and he happens to working on Valentine's day. His name is Harry Warden and the his home town forgets about him and gives him a delayed rescue and ends up in a mental hospitol.
From that point he seeks revenge! So Harry dons a gas mask and his trusty pic axe to make people pay for their crimes against him! Every Valentines day the legend says he comes back to his home town for blood.
But I think it was a well put together slasher flick I enjoyed it and I always say the 80's was the golden age of slasher movies. But if anyone reading that enjoys horror movies. You might enjoy this movie.
Check it out!
