Review of My Bloody Valentine (1981) by Jon C — 01 Nov 2012
It's another 1980's slasher flick that tries to capitalize on the February holiday but not that it's a complete waste of time.
Again though typical scenario focusing on some youths getting ready to celebrate Valentine's day and a killer coal miner slices up everyone.
It's actually cool that you don't know who the coal miner is, they rely on just his mean streak and covering his face with a gas mask.
The kills are pretty brutal which is a plus.
The gore factor isn't too shabby at all.
It ain't great but the film is another watchable slasher-holiday pick.
