Review of My Bloody Valentine (1981) by Jeff W — 28 May 2009

A lot of the blood and guts were fake looking. But story wise it was at least better than the new film. I like what the valentine cards said that the killer wrote as well. The remake could have used that too.

Some of the dialogue was smart too, like when one girl says something like "my outfit is so hot I'm that I'm not going to make it out alive at the party". One part is sick where one girl's head goes through a pipe that's squirting water and the water is then coming out of her mouth. The best thing that the remake has going for it is that the killer is scarier. It also had more nudity...lol.
