Review of My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002) by Lucas A — 27 Jun 2014
Funny, sensitive, romantic and fantastically enjoyable. Undoubtedly, a great film for the family to enjoy and have great fun with "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". This film is incredibly wonderful.
The film introduce us to Toula, a woman in her thirties whose family is descended from Greek. When Toula falls in love with Ian, a teacher, it goes against the rules of his family, whose tradition is in which all members of this must marry Greeks.
Reluctantly family, Toula begins a troubled and delicious romance with Ian, which leads to a sweet and gentle film, standing for a modern fairytale.
