Absolutely loved it! It definitely lives up to the first film. While critics may see this as an extremely cheap laugh, I feel like that's the point. It's supposed to super relatable and really makes those who love the first film feel right at home.
Additionally, the fact that all the characters are back make the film all that much better. However, I was really disappointed that Universal had to make Angelo gay; it was really unnecessary and added nothing to the story - Not to mention, being gay in a Greek family is commonly frowned upon.
Other than that, this movie was spot on when trying to be relatable and have the same love and warm feelings found in the original film.
