Though it brings up no new evidence to support the Amityville case, Daniel Lutz's story is an interesting one. The ending is fantastic, making the audience doubt everything they had heard throughout the rest of the movie.

However, a satisfying ending does not make up for a repetitive narrative and random guitar solos. Interesting, but not captivating.
