Story of Fletcher Christian's(Gable) mutiny of Captain William Bligh(Laughton) on the british ship the Bounty. Gable prooves here that when given the chance he could really act. Laughton shines as one of the most hatable bastards ever captured on film.
Movie goes on for too long and falls flat in it's final act. won best picture.
