Review of Mute (2018) by Sheena B — 24 Feb 2018

This is a different film, very different. My first reaction was sesnsory overload as I tried to focus on the plot at the same time as absorbing the level of detail in the world the film created. As it progressed however I became gripped and by the end almost overwhelmed by the story - I suspect this was largely because of the shades of grey in the characters (made harder by the use of 'good guy' actors as bad guys).

By the end I felt quite stunned, in a good way. This will need re-watching, but I want to watch it again soon, and that's not often the case.
