Review of Mute (2016) by Eileen T — 27 Feb 2018
Rudd was great in his role. Most of the cast pulls off their roles well, and I love that the setting was in line with Moon. The movie does start to fall a little flat beyond those points though. There are some cliche moments and a few spots where dialog seemed forced.
While Leo is portrayed to be driving by love alone, I didn't really feel the connection with him. Making it difficult to truly get behind what is going on. I felt a much stronger bond with Cactus Bill.
