Review of Mute (2016) by Ahmed A — 06 Mar 2018
I don't know why this movie got such horrible ratings. I loved the performance of the actors/actresses in this film. Seeing paul rudd as a bad guy- whaaaat, that's a first! it was fantastic. alexander skarsgard does a great job pretending to be mute, sometimes I had to remind myself that he does actually talk in real life.
The story was original, and through I generally hate things that don't have a happy ending (the way I want them to) I found the ending to be refreshing and sweet. though I generally hold the belief of "one and done" with movies, I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to this where Skarsgard's character finds love again.
.. but that's just the romantic in me.
