Review of Mutant Chronicles (2008) by Simon W — 30 Mar 2009

I watched this movie on Xbox live, and as you can see it was 3 weeks before it actually comes out. This was a pretty formulaic movie where you have the squad of soldiers trying to save the world, being picked off one at a time.

The reason this one stands apart is because it follows the formula with such flair. The movie is very stylish, and is very much eye candy. The cast is filled with mid level stars, but each of them give spirited performances.

Thomas Jane has never been grittier, and this whole movie was pretty gritty. If you aren't a fan of the Sci-fi/horror genre, this isn't anything to entertain you. If you are a fan, this is a great entry.
