Retro-futuristic action thriller is a WWII suicide mission at heart and is decent enough entertainment but, only if you go into it without grand expectations. The effects are good, except the CGI blood which is terrible.
The cast is fine, especially Perlman, Jane and an underused Devon Aoki. The film could have benefitted from a quicker pace and another draft on the script but as Sci-Fi it can get away with things the average film can't.
Overall not bad, but could have been a lot better.
