Something about this movie made me rather interested in giving it a try. Perhaps it was the cast; or maybe it was the similarities to other movies I like, and there were a lot of those. There were quite a few moments where I was thinking "oh that's kinda like.
.." Fifth Element, Starship Troopers, Blade 2, Sky Captian, Sin City, Metropolis. However the movie overall seemed rather lacking. Also the juxtaposition of futuristic weapons with WWI style fighting and train-like steam engine powered flying craft was really strange.
