Review of Mustang (2015) by Jerome P — 09 Feb 2016
The story and filmmaking are devastatingly good. I've seen few coming of age tales like this one. I was lucky enough to catch this at TIFF. I find Turkey such and interesting and perfect setting, with it's progressive world image and cities, but out in this rural town that regressive past still played through.
The characters had such emotional pulls from both sides. It was really well done.
