I really liked the movie honestly. I can't see why so many people dissed on this movie when it came out. Sure, it is sappy...sure you have to appreciate pets and or come from a pet loving family to believe the storyline.
... but in the end all love stories are somewhat "sappy". John Cusack was great in this and Diane Lane was as well! Really, this is more realistic than some people might would have you believe except in real life people don't always realize when they need to let their "walls" down and just be real with others.
