Review of Must Love Dogs (2005) by Chyla — 20 May 2008
'Hopelessly romantic young-fifties widower seeks lady friend who enjoys the slow bloom of affection, loves dogs, children, and long meandering bike rides. I will be carrying a single yellow rose.' Some darn fine writing, with additional cases such as the preschool being treated like a support group for children, Austin asking Sarah about her retirement plan, blaming the nuns, Dolly's talk with Jeremy, and the Deli Guy's relationship advice.
'Where are your boob shirts?'.
