Review of Mussolini and I (1985) by Thomas A — 29 Sep 2011

This was an excellent movie that I am glad was made. It shows the Italians during WWII (for a change) and show the Mussolini Regime during this time. I have no idea how this movie never got to be better known.

Anthony Hopkins as usual played his role superbly! This movie lets you take a good look at Ciano at the beginning and fall of the Blackshirt party. It also shows how Mussolini was really forced into a corner and how Italy was a victim of Hitler's conquests.

I recommend that when you have time you check this one out for sure!
