Review of Music Within (2007) by Michael U — 29 Oct 2007
This one is a glimpse of what real life is made of... When you live in complete surrender to your life - the undeniable forces of the universe - happiness and suffering work together perfectly. A great film like this which puts any centered audience member through heartwrenching uncomfort deserves to be recognized later this year at award ceremonies.
Unfortuantely, it probably won't, but those who have seen it, will hopefully recognize this story's importance. In addition, the acting is unforgettable, especially Michael Sheen's performance.
Steven Sawalich's directorial debut deserves high critical praise for a deeply passionate first time effort behind the camera for a theatrical release.
