Review of Music Within (2007) by Sheranga- T — 02 Jan 2009
Surprisingly good touching movie. It was incredibly inspiring. John Livingston was very good. He probably gave some of his best work in this movie as a the deaf Richard Pimentel who helps against the descrimination of those with disabilities.
But if for nothing else...this movie is worth renting for Michael Sheen's performance. He plays Art, a real life friend to Richard who happens to have cerebal palsy. He is incredible in this movie and steals all of the scenes he is in.
It is worth renting for his performance alone, but is also accompanied by a rather wonderful story as well. It's not perfect...but it's great.
