Review of Music Within (2007) by Deb K — 23 Aug 2009
Well-written, well-acted story based on Richard Pimentel's life and pursuit of the passage of the ADA. Michael Sheen gives a stunning performance as CP sufferer Art, and Hector Elizondo gives his revelation with heart. At times I would forget that Ron Livingston was playing a deaf man, but then some subtle action would bring it back into focus.
In some spots, it makes you uncomfortable, only if because you identify with some of the other characters in the movie. Everyone should watch this movie, if nothing else than to understand what perseverance can get you.
