Review of Music Within (2007) by Private U — 26 Sep 2008
This is one of the greatest movies that I have ever seen. It is funny, sad, and intriguing. But most of all, it feels like real life. It is an eye-opening look at the world for people with disabilities and just how mean this world can be to them.
But with the finesse of not making you feel guilty about being a part of that mean world. It has quite a few one-liners but a high-spirited and comedic undertone that keeps the movie from dragging on and you from feeling 'preached to.
' No matter your opinion on the American's with Disabilities Act, I think you'll find a unique and thought provoking perspective in this movie. I highly recommend taking taking yourself and all of your preconceived notions and seeing which one (or both) change before the credits begin to roll.
