Review of Music Within (2007) by Atanas Y — 16 Oct 2009

I liked the story, or rather its potential.

But I didn't like the way it was told.

This movie just can't carry the topic.

The acting was mediocre in my opinion.

The script was rather cheap.

And every 5 mins they need to play a song, really loud, just to overcompensate for the inability to create mood by other means.

And there is one thing I found quite interesting - for a guy who lost his hearing in a war, helping a lot of americans being hurt by wars he had just nothing to say about war in general... amazing, hm?

This story needs to be told again, and told better.
