Review of Music and Lyrics (2007) by Ande M — 21 Nov 2009
Alex Fletcher (Hugh Grant) play a singer/song writer who had success in the eighties with a group called Pop, twenty years later the group have split and he only seems to make appearances singing his old songs for his fans from the eighties, older women.
He gets the chance to write a new song for a big artist of todays music charts but he has a problem, he has not written a good song in twenty years, plus there are other writers in the running.
He then meets Sophie Fisher (Drew Barrymore) that has never written a song but she knows what a song should say and mean.
I really liked this film and thought it was good, if you like romantic comedy's then you will like this one.
