The king of romantic comedy combines with the well travelled queen in Lawrences beautifully written tale of a couple coming together through songwriting. The gentle humour passes wry comment on 80's pop music and the celebrity pop circuit.
Unintentionally it also exposes the banality elton johns dirge like piano music. Marc Lawrence has taken richard curtis's crown with the elegant dialog so magnificently delivered by the principals.
