Review of Muriel's Wedding (1994) by Hugo F — 31 Dec 2007

I love characters who are flawed and not only is Muriel a flop in physical appearance, she has dreams that just do not seem to fit in with her surroundings. She does want to get married though and by god, she is going to make it happen.

I will give her comedy points for being herself. Oh and she has help from an unexpected friend. Toni Collette is very good at being pathetic.
