Review of Muriel's Wedding (1994) by Erica H — 20 Jan 2008
One review I read said ABBA ran this film. Although the songs play a major role Muriel's life, Toni Collette's character is what makes you want to see more. A disregarded misfit, Muriel dreams for her wedding day, the day which she thinks will rescue her from Porpoise Spit and the life of "Muriel.
" By abandoning the dead-end town, she finds that "Muriel" had it in her all along.
