Muriel's Wedding is one of my favorite movies. This Australian film import introduced me to the very talented Toni Collette. The film has a strong cast and soundtrack to match.
Muriel lives in a small town in Autralia whom through her favorite group Abba dreams of leaving and becoming a beautiful bride. A great moment when she meets up with a girl from high school on a isnland vacation turns to be a dream for the both of them. I love when both ladies enter into a competition to lip synch to Waterloo from Abba. If you have not seen this film you have to check it out.....you will enjoy it!!!
