Review of Muriel's Wedding (1994) by Karen M — 09 Jun 2008

After waiting 12 years to see this film, it was a huge let down. Not that I think I would have been impressed back then either. I certainly never thought it would go the way it did and that's just not what I was after.

It was an ok story of a small town girl trying to break out from under her fathers mean gaze, but didn't impress me much. Toni Collette was great though and I love Rachel Griffiths, I didn't know she was in this!
