I loved Muriel's leopard print dress. I loved her unfortunate traingular hoop earrings. I loved her 'simpering squeaks' (yes, I stole that one from Ebert) her wedding obession, her goodness, her kind-heartness, her silliness, her loyalty, her propensity to make bad decisions, and her ability to crawl back up on her feet to redeem herself.
When I try to escape from my own version of Popoise Spit, I'll try my best to be just like Muriel.
