Review of Muriel's Wedding (1994) by Tina M — 12 May 2009
What an adorable flick. Toni Collette plays the role of Muriel/Mariel, a young woman who believes she can finally become a real person (instead of the drab & dull person living in her parents house playing ABBA all day) if she gets married.
I really enjoyed this movie. It's extremely unique and different than from what I thought it would be. Classic. Don't forget.. "You can't stop progress!".
