In order to further the theory that a movie is yet to be produced from the Australian portion of the Earth that is not strange, dark, and completely nutty, here comes Muriel's Wedding. There's not much to this tragedy of dunces, and it certainly sucks to be a mom in Muriel's world.
If you're looking to disappear into a carefree world of weddings, failed wild sex, idiots, and shameless Abba, Muriel's Wedding will serve nicely as an escape.
