Review of MurderDrome (2013) by David S — 08 Apr 2015
MurderDrome tries really hard to be something enjoyable, and in a way, has really pushed itself to become a cult-classic from the get go, almost artificially. However, even with the effort, the attempt has ended with a poor and miserable final product.
It is admirable on what was achieved with the low budget, and it's admirable in what it has done for the roller derby sport, but it is not a well made nor well acted movie. I would be very interested to see what Daniel Armstrong could do given a decent budget and a decent writer.
