Review of Murderball (2005) by Matthew C — 01 Nov 2008
A great film for several reasons. It has a great sense of humour, some stand out characters and introduces a sport which is simultaneously very cool, very valid and also serves a very worthwhile purpose.
Which brings me to the films main strength which is the frankly inspiring personal stories and struggles behind the sport and how it helped the competitors to overcome them, sounds cheesy but the film really does pull it off.
