Review of Murderball (2005) by Pat G — 24 Jul 2009
See this movie! Nominated for Best Documentary Oscar in 2006 (and should have won). Maybe it didn't because it wasn't a traditional documentary, it's a film. It's bigger than sports, it's bigger than the people in it. It's about life and attitude and is truly inspiring.
If it's hard to find through the local video store, most libraries carry it.
Also watch the bonus features. I was surprised by the Jackass extra. If you like Jackass, you'll really like this bonus material. If you hate Jackass, you'll love it.
