Review of Murderball (2005) by Shawna R — 03 Mar 2006
Terrific! I saw "Murderball" the other day on A&E. It really made an impact on me as my step-father has a spinal cord injury and is confined to a wheelchair.
These guys are awesome and tougher than alot of guys with functioning legs!
The movie is not depressing, but enlightening. It answers some questions that you are afraid to ask.
I had the biggest revelation when they said "we're not heroes, we're not victims, we're just everyday people.".
You get so involved in the game that you forget these guys are in wheelchairs. GO Team USA!!
